💕Bubblegum my Betta🍬

It was LOVE at first sight!

... Read moreYou know that feeling when you just *know*? That's exactly how I felt when I first saw Bubblegum, my gorgeous Betta fish! It truly was love at first sight, and I knew he had to come home with me. Getting a close-up of him is always a treat; every scale seems to shimmer. His colors are just out of this world – a beautiful mix of soft pinks, blues, and purples that swirl together, making him look just like a piece of bubblegum! And his fins? Oh my goodness, they're so long and flowing, it's like he's wearing a fancy gown as he glides through the water. Watching him explore his tank, darting around and flaring his fins occasionally, is so relaxing. Betta fish are known for their personalities, and he certainly has one! He loves to investigate all his decorations and sometimes even 'talks' to me when I come near the glass. Setting up his little home was so much fun. I wanted to make sure his aquarium was not just functional but also a cozy, beautiful space for him. For a simple betta fish bowl setup, I chose black gravel as a base – it really makes his vibrant colors pop! I added a cute pink cave for him to hide in when he needs some quiet time, and a little treasure chest for a playful touch. A soft green leaf provides a comfy resting spot near the surface, which bettas absolutely love. And of course, a thermometer is essential to keep the water temperature just right. Even in a small tank, you can create a wonderful environment for your betta. These close-ups of his colorful fins and the tank really show off his beauty! For anyone thinking about getting a betta, remember they thrive in warm, filtered water, and even though they can survive in small spaces, a slightly larger tank (like 2.5-5 gallons) with a heater and filter is always best for their long-term health and happiness. Their playful nature truly shines when they're comfortable and healthy. I just adore my Bubblegum Betta, and I hope these close-up shots of him and his colorful aquarium give you a glimpse into why! What are your favorite betta fish colors or tank setups? Let me know!
