🏵️Feliz Dia De Los Muertos🏵️

I had a lot of fun shading this piece, it was heavily inspired by the Cempaxochitl (or Marigold) flower bridge in the animated film “Coco”, a film my mom and I watch every Dia de Los Muertos 🥰

This is by far the most beautiful holiday lasting up to a week (beginning Oct. 27th all the way till Nov. 2nd) and I can’t wait for next years return!

I work at a bilingual school, and for Halloween, our Sped team did a 'Coco' theme. I think I did a pretty good job on my Catrina makeup and costume! On the Ofrenda is my grandmother (we call her Mamaw Ruby❤️) and an offering of soup (though any food would do since she loved to cook).
