Other Ingredients:

• Unsalted butter (softened): 40g (3 tbsp)

• Brown sugar: 100g (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)

• Eggs: 2 (large)

• Banana (ripe): 1 (medium, about 120g or 4.2 oz)

• Walnuts (roughly chopped): 30g (1/4 cup)

Topping:

• Walnuts (roughly chopped): 20g (3 tbsp)

• Brown sugar: 20g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep Work:

• Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

• Sift the “A” ingredients together 3 times to ensure even mixing.

• Bring the butter and eggs to room temperature.

2️⃣ Mix the Batter:

• In a bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until smooth.

• Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly.

• Mash the banana and add it to the batter, mixing well.

• Gradually fold in the sifted dry ingredients (“A”) until fully combined.

• Stir in the chopped walnuts.

3️⃣ Bake:

• Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan.

• Sprinkle the topping walnuts and brown sugar evenly over the batter.

• Bake at 340°F (170°C) for 50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
