New Digital Diary Alert‼️ Come Say Hi👋🏽

Hey, my name is Chalice and after a few months on this app, I’m finally going to join the girlies and do a digital diary. Here are some things about me that you’ll see a lot on this page….

Bookworm📚: I’ve been an avid reader my whole life, and a good 98% of my collection consists of romance novels or novels with romantic undertones (I can very rarely get through a book with no sexual tension, I’m sorry😂).

Budding Fashionista👗: I’m VERY late to the fashion game. When I wasn’t adhering to the school dress code in my jeans and hoodies, I was adhering to my comfort in leggings and tees. Now that I’m getting older, I’ve started being more intentional with my overall appearance. I’ve been testing out my personal style for a few months now, so I’m still in my infancy, but I look forward to my growth.

Shoe Doll👠: I used to LIVE in my Converse and Vans. I just had my mom replace my 5+-year-old pair of Vans for my birthday because my soles were so thin I could feel the wet ground when it rained😖. I’ve realized that shoes are one of the most important accessories and can make or break an outfit, so I’ve been slowly but steadily building my collection with both sneakers and heels

Purse Princess: I have a little problem with buying purses👉🏽👈🏽. Before shoes, jewelry and hats, purses were my number one, and sometimes only, accessory and now that I’m putting more care into my outfits, my purses are able to pop that much more

Crocheter🧶: Before I picked up a crochet hook, I dabbled with knitting needles. Though I was fairly decent, it didn’t spark the same passion as completing my first granny square did. I’ve only been crocheting for about seven months, but I’ve made tons of granny squares, too many hats and am currently in the process of making a blanket or four😅

Part 2 coming soon!

... Read moreHey Lemon8 fam! So glad you're here to dive into my digital diary. Beyond just joining the trend, I truly believe this space is perfect for sharing the little joys and big discoveries that make up my everyday life. It’s a place for me to document my growth, share what I’m passionate about, and hopefully connect with all of you who share similar interests! Since you're here for my digital diary, let me spill the tea on my ultimate comfort zone: books! I mentioned my love for romance novels, and honestly, they're my escape. There's nothing quite like getting lost in a good story with a healthy dose of romantic tension. If you're looking for a new read, I recently stumbled upon 'Lore of the Wilds' – it's on my TBR pile, but I've heard amazing things! For fellow bookworms trying to juggle a busy life, my top tip is to always carry a physical book or have an e-reader handy. Even 10 minutes can make a difference during a commute or coffee break. And if you're like me and have a towering 'To Be Read' stack, don't stress! It just means there's always an adventure waiting. What are your favorite genres, and any must-read romance recommendations for me? Stepping into the fashion world has been such a journey for me! For years, comfort was king (hello, leggings and tees!). But now, I'm genuinely enjoying figuring out what makes me feel good. If you're just starting to explore your personal style, my biggest advice is to experiment. Don't be afraid to try on things you wouldn't normally. I've found some amazing pieces that way, like this super versatile green shirt and black crop top combo, perfect with some comfy biker shorts and a cool green cap. And let's not forget accessories – a chic black mini bag or some fresh green sneakers can totally elevate an everyday look. I recently scored a pair of light beige platform sneakers secondhand, and they're a game-changer for adding height without sacrificing comfort! It's all about finding those pieces that make you feel confident and happy. My shoe and purse addiction is real, fam! It's wild how much a good pair of shoes can transform an outfit. I used to live in my Converse and Vans, but now I'm embracing heels too. When building your collection, focus on versatility. A classic black shoulder bag, for instance, is an absolute staple that goes with almost everything. For shoes, invest in a few quality pairs that can be dressed up or down. I've learned that quality over quantity truly pays off in the long run, and sometimes those perfect finds are waiting at a thrift store! What's your go-to accessory that instantly elevates your look? Crocheting has become my absolute favorite way to unwind and get creative. If you've ever considered picking up a hook, I say go for it! Starting with granny squares is a fantastic way to learn the basic stitches – you'll be surprised how quickly you can make something beautiful. I’ve made tons of them, and moved onto bigger projects like a cozy white crocheted hat with ruffles, or even a vibrant green one for myself! There are tons of free patterns online, and YouTube tutorials are a lifesaver for visual learners. It’s incredibly satisfying to create something with your own hands, whether it's a gift or just for yourself. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to relax and disconnect from the digital world for a bit. Anyone else obsessed with yarn and hooks? I'd love to see your projects or hear about your favorite crafts!
