6 goals for 2026✨
Goal Number 1: Go outside at least 100 days this year
I worked a lot in 2025 and didn’t spend much time outside and it took a toll on my mental health. I want to see the sun and explore the places around me.
Goal Number 2: Read the entire Bible
I cannot remember the last time I sat down and read the Bible and it being such a core part of my childhood I’m choosing to bring it back into my life and reading the whole thing has always been a goal of mine but I haven’t accomplished it yet so hopefully this is the year I do!
Goal Number 3: Exercise at least 200 days of the year
I wanted to make this goal measurable because it’s a habit I have yet to form. I am committed for a while and then I fall off that train for awhile so if I make it a goal to exercise at least 200 days that gives me a good way to check off the boxes while still being somewhat consistent.
Goal Number 4: Practice gratitude everyday
This was a huge part of my life growing up because my mom practiced gratitude daily by writing it in her journal. I find myself constantly complaining to myself and others day after day and it not only brings my mood but the mood of others around me down as well.
Goal Number 5: Pay off my car loan
I didn’t have a car payment for a short time in 2025 and it was one of the best things ever. I want to pay off my car this year and hopefully keep my car for a few years paid off.
Goal Number 6: Save $5,000
This is a goal I struggle with. After bills and everything else my money goes to there’s not much left for savings. But $5,000 over 12 months is a little over $400 a month and if I treat it like a bill and place it in my savings account I don’t look at regularly then it doesn’t seem so hard.
