... Read moreStarting the new year with a well-curated reading list can set a positive, enriching tone for the months ahead. From my experience, mixing genres like historical fiction, thrillers, memoirs, and spiritual healing books keeps the reading journey fresh and engaging. One standout from this list is "Our Infinite Fates" by Laura Steven, which beautifully blends a unique love story with past life connections. The way it weaves history into romance really pulled me in emotionally and intellectually. It’s the kind of book that stays with you long after the last page. “The Nightingale” by Kristin Hannah is another unforgettable read that truly moves you. The depth of character development and the harrowing portrayal of war’s impact on lives made me deeply empathetic and reflective. It’s a powerful reminder of resilience and love amid adversity — a story that’s both heartbreaking and inspiring. For thriller enthusiasts, Mary Kubica’s work is a revelation. The author’s attention to detail and deliberate pacing kept me hooked and guessing until the final chapter. I found that pacing and suspense crucial in making thrillers not just entertaining but emotionally impactful. The memoir "The Woman in Me" by Britney Spears offers a heartfelt glimpse into personal struggles and triumphs. Memoirs like this aren’t always about literary polish but about authenticity and voice, which makes them compelling and important in today’s discourse on mental health and resilience. Spiritual and self-help books like "Tears to Triumph" by Marion Williamson and "Secrets of Saturn" by Andrea Taylor provide profound insights. I appreciated how these books offered practical tools and spiritual perspectives that helped me navigate anxiety and personal growth. In all, a great reading wrap-up like this isn't just a list — it’s an invitation to explore new worlds, understand diverse perspectives, and reflect on your own journey. Whether you seek to be moved, thrilled, or spiritually uplifted, integrating a variety of genres into your reading can enhance your intellectual and emotional well-being throughout the year.

Have you read Firefly Lane or Fly Away by Kristen Hannah?? Both so amazing, another sob fest! 😭 Others of hers are on my list to read this year too! We should plan to read one of hers together and compare notes! I am about to start “It’s Not Her” this month, I’m so excited! I’ve debated on reading the Britney Spears memoir, I might pick it up this year. We will see. I will have to pick up the first book you read with an ♾️ rating! That is right up my alley!! Great start to the year girl! 7 books in 1 month! You are a rockstar!! 🤘🏼
