love this series. so interesting about him not having knitted items before. I'm so curious about the lore behind dwarves having knitted items but hobbits not. I would assume Hobbits would have more nimble fingers and knitting is so cosy so I would've previously assumed Hobbits would be bigger knitters than dwarves but maybe the Shire doesn't get very cold?
