Bridal Makeup and Hair
Loved creating this #BridalGlam for my #Bride 🤍 #MiamiMua #BridalMua #bridalmakeupartist
Oh my goodness, planning a wedding is such an adventure, isn't it? One of the biggest things on my mind was definitely my bridal makeup and hair! I wanted to feel like myself, but also the most beautiful version of myself, if that makes sense. After all, these photos last a lifetime! When I was getting ready for my big day, I spent so much time researching different looks. For makeup, I ended up going for something that was natural but still had that 'wow' factor. Think radiant skin, defined eyes, and a soft, romantic lip. My Miami MUA was amazing at creating a look that truly enhanced my features without feeling heavy. She used long-wearing products, which is absolutely crucial, especially if you're having an outdoor wedding like I did. You don't want to be worrying about your foundation melting off before the vows! I remember sitting in my beautiful white satin robe with lace sleeves, looking into the mirror as she worked her magic, and it felt so serene. For hair, I absolutely adored the elegant waves that were styled half-up. It was such a perfect compromise between having my hair down and having it fully up, allowing some soft waves to frame my face while keeping stray hairs out of the way for dancing later! The stylist incorporated delicate tendrils around my face, which felt so romantic. Seeing my wedding dress hanging on a mannequin nearby, I could already envision the complete look. Trust me, finding a hairstylist who understands your vision for elegant yet practical wedding hair is a game-changer. They even helped me put on my earrings, which was a sweet touch! Another detail I loved was holding my beautiful white rose and baby's breath bouquet. It perfectly matched the soft, romantic vibe of my look. When choosing your bridal makeup and hair, don't forget to consider your dress, your venue (indoor vs. outdoor), and your overall wedding theme. A good makeup artist and hairstylist will do a consultation beforehand, which is your chance to try out different looks and make sure you're comfortable. I even brought in pictures of makeup I loved and hated, which really helped my artist understand my style. Ultimately, it’s about feeling confident and comfortable. Whether you opt for a classic updo, flowing soft waves, or a chic braided style, make sure it reflects *you*. And don't forget waterproof mascara – happy tears are definitely a thing! I felt so amazing, sitting in that ornate chair, taking a moment to breathe before all the festivities began. It was truly a dream come true.
