Words can’t describe how grateful I feel seeing that I made the first cut for the top 20 women. This is a contest to win $20k, a trip to Napa Valley, & to be on the cover of a magazine. This is honoring all moms.
The theme is “Super Mom” but I will say, I am not self proclaiming to be “THE” super mom. I’m just another mama trying to wake up every morning & do her best to give her little the best life she deserves.
In all honesty I don’t care about a fancy trip or even being on the cover of a magazine.
I can’t tell you how important $20,000 is for my family right now. It’s been a struggle the past couple of years to say the least. Struggling mentally, physically, as well as financially. I’ve experienced a journey I never imagined I would go through. But I’m coming out stronger because of it.
I’ve been praying that this money will go to my family, but I also know that this money will go to a family that needs it no matter what. I pray that whoever wins this contest knows they didn’t need a contest to prove that they’re a good mother. But that they realize others are applauding them & recognizing their efforts & showing their support.
The truth of it all is we are each a super mom. & in case you haven’t been told that today, I’m glad you’re being told now. You are worthy, you are loved, you are amazing.
