Travel Nha Trang Like A Local 2.0 Day 5 🇻🇳 | Bánh Căn, Po Nagar Cham Towers
Day 5 — From Ancient Cham Towers to Fireworks & Stunt Shows
Day 5 in Nha Trang brought us an incredibly unique blend of culinary discoveries, culture, history, spectacular fireworks and live performances — another day that reminded us just how much there is to experience in this beautiful coastal city.
We started our morning with a rather exciting culinary discovery at Bánh Căn Cô Ly, an extremely new Bánh Căn shop that quickly became our favourite Bánh Căn spot so far.
The Bánh Căn was freshly made to order, packed with delicious ingredients and generous seafood toppings — some of the seafood pieces were practically as big as my palm! 🦐 The concept is also quite interesting, because the same place houses NIN Tea and Coffee and NIN Nails Beauty, making it more than just a food stop.
From there, we headed to the iconic Po Nagar Cham Towers. This time, instead of simply exploring on our own, we decided to hire a guide to help us understand more about the history, architecture and cultural significance of this remarkable site.
Having a guide completely changed the experience. Instead of just seeing the ancient towers, we were able to appreciate the stories, traditions and historical details behind them — giving us a much deeper perspective of Po Nagar and the Cham civilization.
With the Nha Trang Kite Festival still taking place, we then made our way to the southern part of Nha Trang Beach to admire the spectacular giant kites filling the sky. It was a beautiful and colourful sight, especially as the afternoon slowly transitioned into evening.
But we couldn’t stay for long. As the sky began to darken, we quickly made our way to Vinpearl Island by cable car, chasing the scheduled weekend fireworks.
The journey itself was beautiful, and once we arrived, the atmosphere was magical. With its waterfront setting, beautiful architecture and evening lights, parts of the area almost made us feel like we had suddenly been transported to Venice. ✨
After the fireworks, we headed to the famous Thanh Sương Vinpearl Harbor Seafood Restaurant for dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly — they even subscribed to my channel! 😄 And considering the location, we found the prices surprisingly reasonable.
To end the night, we were incredibly lucky to catch the spectacular Rise of the Ocean Princess Stunt Show, and even managed to get some really good seats.
After an action-packed day filled with food, history, culture, fireworks and live entertainment, we finally hopped onto a speedboat back to Nha Trang City.
From a humble B ánh Căn breakfast to ancient Cham history, giant kites, dazzling fireworks and a thrilling stunt performance — Day 5 was truly one of those unforgettable Nha Trang days where every moment brought something completely different. 🇻🇳✨
