If you’re looking to get started here’s what I’d tell you to do.

Almost 2 months into this challenge! Working on my last week in my program! Feeling a lot strong and the triceps are popping! 💪🏼

If you’re looking to get started here’s what I’d tell you to do.

1. Think about your nutrition. Look for ways to make healthier swaps but still incorporating your favorites. It’s about balance and moderation not about removing the food entirely or labeling it as a “bad” food.

2. Fins a workout or program you love and choose 3 days to complete that workout! You don’t have to workout everyday. Just start slow and set the expectations for a few days and if you feel good add more!

3. Drink more water. Try drinking water with each meal or tell yourself to drink water before you get the soda. Set a goal and hydrate!

4. Find a pal or group to keep you accountable and keep you entertained. It’s so much easier to stick to your goals when you have someone to do it with and someone counting on you to show up for yourself and for the group.

If you’re looking to get started reach out! I have a lot of recommendations, workout programs to share and a free accountability group where we share our goals and compliments. Lean on each other to get them done and a place to learn and have fun!

From personal experience, I found that setting simple, realistic goals was key to staying motivated. First, focusing on nutrition is crucial. Instead of rigid diets, I started making healthier food swaps—like choosing whole grain bread over white or adding more vegetables to my meals—while still enjoying my favorite treats in moderation. This balance helped me avoid feeling deprived and kept my energy levels stable throughout the day. Consistency in workouts became easier when I chose a program that I genuinely enjoyed. For me, committing to just three workouts a week made the habit manageable. I started with shorter sessions focused on mobility and strength training, gradually increasing intensity as I grew more confident. This approach prevented burnout and boosted my strength, particularly in my triceps and upper body. Hydration often gets overlooked, but it’s another game-changer. I developed a habit of drinking a glass of water with every meal and before reaching for sugary drinks. Setting a daily water intake goal, such as half a gallon, helped improve my overall well-being and workout recovery. Lastly, finding accountability partners transformed the process. Joining a free accountability group where we celebrate small wins, share progress logs, and motivate each other made sticking to my goals fun and rewarding. Whether it’s a workout buddy or an online community, having someone to check in with encourages commitment and provides support during challenging days. If you’re just starting out, consider these steps: prioritize balanced nutrition, pick workouts you look forward to, stay hydrated, and surround yourself with a supportive community. These simple yet effective strategies can build a sustainable fitness routine that fits your lifestyle and helps you achieve your health goals.
