Sanding with a paper bag
One of the things I started doing a long time ago was doing a finish sanding on a satin finish with a small piece of paper bag. It always helps that finish feel much smoother by knocking down the little nibs that might be sticking up. Give it a try if you haven’t and I’m sure you will be surprised how great it works.
On this piece I am using the paper bag on a satin water based top coat from General Finishes.
