Maple cream cheese stuffed & cinnamon sugar topped pumpkin bread 🍞 This is rich & cozy, and the cinnamon sugar on top adds the perfect bit of crunch.

Ingredients:

— 3/4 cup butter, softened

— 1 cup brown sugar, packed

— 1 tsp vanilla

— 1 egg

— 1/2 of a 15 oz. can of pumpkin

— 1 cup flour

— 1/2 tsp baking soda

— 1/4 tsp baking powder

— 1/2 tbs pumpkin pie spice

— 4 tbs sugar and a pinch of cinnamon to top

Filling:

— 4 oz cream cheese

— 3 tbs maple syrup

— 1/2 tsp cinnamon

How to:

1. Beat butter and sugar until well combined.

2. Add in egg, vanilla, and pumpkin and beat again.

3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice and mix again.

4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, syrup, and cinnamon until well combined.

5. Prepare a loaf pan with either parchment paper or nonstick spray.

6. Add a layer of pumpkin bread batter, and then add dollops of cream cheese. Add the rest of the batter on top and smooth to the edges.

7. Bake for 60-70 minutes until you can stick a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean (or with crumbs, not liquid).
