Let’s dive in to what God calls of us🌸✝️
Let’s take a moment to appreciate what God calls of us to do/follow, regarding His word.
Anything He does, commands, is for our better good and I’m honored to share His word and to live His word and lead others to Christ. 🤎
We all fall short and we are not perfect nor does He intend for us to be, but may we come as we are, so that in Him we shall be changed🫂
It is our job to tell others, not fix others.
God’s calling for us centers on living a life rooted in His Word, which includes abiding by His commandments and reflecting His love and justice in our daily actions. Beyond just following rules, it’s about a transformation of heart and character through faith. The 10 Commandments, given in Exodus 20:1-17, provide a foundational moral guide: loving God above all, honoring parents, refraining from murder, adultery, theft, false witness, and covetousness. These commandments outline a life pleasing to God and beneficial for community harmony. Additionally, God explicitly hates behaviors and attitudes such as pride, lying, harming the innocent, plotting evil, false testimony, causing division, idolatry, injustice, and fake worship. Such transgressions disrupt our relationship with Him and with one another. Speech is also a significant area of God’s concern. Gossip, corrupt speech, and cursing are identified as sins damaging both speaker and listener. Scriptures like Proverbs 16:28 and James 3:9-10 teach that our tongues have power to build up or tear down. God calls us to use words for encouragement, truth, and kindness rather than harm. Living by God’s call means recognizing we are imperfect, yet invited to come as we are to be changed through Him. Our responsibility is to share His message and lead others towards Christ with love and humility, not to judge or attempt to fix them ourselves. Embracing God's Word fully transforms our thoughts, words, and actions, guiding us to live with integrity and compassion. This aligns us with God's will and exemplifies true Christian living, drawing others to the faith through genuine love and example.
