must have lippie for fall! 🍒🪽✨
hi guys!!!
i just recently ordered this from the elf cosmetics app and i am not regretting my purchase! i see this specific lipstick all over my tik tok for you page all the time. after seeing many videos, i decided to just get it. it is only six dollars so why not.
i think everyone knows by now that the brand to go to for dupes is elf cosmetics! this “Sheer Slick Lipstick” in the shade ‘Black Cherry’ is a dupe for the “Clinique Almost Lipstick” in the shade ‘Black Honey’. personally, i have never tried the original Clinique lipstick, but i did see many videos and the shades of these are the exact same. it’s a darkish red color that i think would be absolutely perfect for the fall season.
Elf Cosmetics Sheer Slick Lipstick
- hydrating
- gorgeous color
- affordable
- comes with a lot of product
- does not last very long though
i definitely recommend you guys to try this out and see if you like it! i have only tried it on its own so far but i’m so excited to find a good lip liner to go good with it. definitely going to be wearing this all autumn and winter long! ✨✨

As someone who's always on the hunt for affordable, high-quality makeup, I couldn't resist picking up the Elf Cosmetics Sheer Slick Lipstick in 'Black Cherry.' This lipstick has been absolutely blowing up my TikTok feed, constantly being touted as a fantastic dupe for the cult-favorite Clinique Almost Lipstick in 'Black Honey.' While I haven't personally tried the original Clinique version, the comparisons I've seen of the shades are spot-on, and for just six dollars, it was a no-brainer to try. I mean, who doesn't love a good beauty steal? This lipstick truly delivers on its 'sheer slick' promise. It glides on effortlessly, feeling incredibly hydrating and comfortable on the lips – perfect for those cooler fall and winter days when my lips tend to get dry. The color, a beautiful dark red, is buildable. You can apply a light layer for a subtle, berry-stained effect, or layer it up for a more intense, yet still sheer, vampy look that's just right for the season. I love that it’s not an opaque, heavy lipstick, but rather a wash of color, which makes it super wearable for everyday. The image showing the 'dark red lipstick bullet' and the 'swatch of the dark red lipstick on a hand' really captures its beautiful, subtle berry stain quality. Now, let's talk about wear time. As the original review mentioned, it doesn’t last super long. Because of its balm-like, sheer formula, I find myself reapplying every couple of hours, especially after eating or drinking. But honestly, for the price and how lovely it feels, I don't mind at all! It’s one of those lipsticks you can easily swipe on without a mirror. If you want to boost its longevity, I’ve found a few tricks. Pairing it with a clear or dark berry lip liner can really help prevent it from migrating and can give it a bit more staying power. I’ve heard great things about NYX liners in shades like 'Espresso' or 'Deep Red' for matching those dark berry tones. You can also blot gently after the first application and reapply for a more saturated, slightly longer-lasting stain. Elf Cosmetics really knocked it out of the park with this one. The 'red-tinted lipstick tube with the brand logo' feels sturdy and looks sleek, belying its incredibly 'affordability.' It’s the perfect introduction if you've been curious about the Black Honey trend but didn't want to splurge. This lipstick has quickly become my go-to for autumn and winter, and I can definitely see myself wearing it all season long. It’s a must-have in my makeup bag now!

Thats my color🥰🥰
