The Farmer’s market is a fun way to get your grocery shopping done and get outside.🧑‍🌾There’s so many unique and well-made products to explore. My local Farmer’s market also has a section for people who sell things they make like Jewelry, art, clothes, home decor, music, and lots more. I love buying local art there.

Painting outside is super relaxing.🎨Even if you’re not the best at painting like I am, just allow yourself to be inspired and create something. It doesn’t have to be super realistic either. Painting and drawing is shown to increase our memory, because we have to spend more time carefully looking at an object/scenery to capture it. Just have fun with it!

If you’re not really artistic, sometimes just observing beautiful scenery can be relaxing for the mind. 🏞️🧘I like to pick a pretty spot in the park and lay down on my blanket while I observe the sights and sounds around me. I always feel so peaceful afterwards.

Now that it’s warmer, it’s the perfect time to go for a walk in your community and meet new people!🏘️ I know this isn’t for everyone, but sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone.

Find a new local restaurant to go to with your friends, family, and/or partner. Walk around your area and see what you find. We found a super yummy Italian place near the park. 🍝I got a build your own pasta with Fusilli pasta, butter sage sauce, and a pesto basil sauce. For dessert we got crème brûlée cheesecake. Everything was so good! Definitely our new go-to.

I love going fruit picking!🍓Right now strawberries are in season, and the weekend I went just happened to be a weekend the farms was having a festival. They had a bunch of vendors and activities. Definitely see if there’s any fruit picking farms near you, and see if they’re having any events coming up.

Now that it’s warmer at night, I recommend going on a sunset boat ride.🌅🚢⚓️🐠If you know anyone with a boat, have a little evening cookout and take pictures from the boat as the sun sets. You’ll get some really good pictures. If you don’t know anyone with a boat and you live near a large water source, see if there’s any companies that do boat rides. I went on a river boat cruise and had an amazing evening full of food, music, great views, and great company. If you’re traveling this is a great family or date night activity!
