You feel really immersed in the Arizona desert as the colors explode around you. For something a bit different, I also recommend checking out the Desert Botanical Garden. Imagine the desert plants, like saguaro cacti, silhouetted against that fiery orange and yellow sky – it’s stunning! To make the most of your sunset chasing, here are a few quick tips I picked up: Make sure to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the official sunset time. The pre-sunset colors and the golden hour light are just as spectacular, if not more so, than the moment the sun actually dips down. Also, bring a tripod if you're into photography, especially if you want to capture those sparkling city lights as dusk settles. And don't forget water, even as the day cools down. Honestly, seeing the Phoenix Arizona skyline sunset with the desert and city lights all coming together was one of the highlights of my trip.
