Workout w/ Me + Getting back into the Gym 👟

First and foremost, I’m not at all a fitness influencer or gym expert. This is just me getting back into working out for me and my health :)

my boyfriend is a health and gym expert so he helps me out every time to come up with workout routines and keep me motivated!!

1. 1 mile run: alternating 2 min walk (3-4mph) and 2 min jog (5-6) mph or whatever works best for you! my goal is to work up to be able to run the full mile, which I havent done in forever!!

2. leg and butt workout: 4x8 romanian deadlift paired with 4x12 goblet squats. then 30sec on 30sec off walking lunges.

something slight to get back into the gym, no need to hurt yourself! just listen to your body and do what makes you feel best.

Incorporating interval training, like a mile run alternating between walking and jogging, helps condition the body without overwhelming it. Focus on gradual progression; for instance, if you're starting with the treadmill, alternate between 2 minutes of walking and 2 minutes of jogging to build stamina over time. In your leg workouts, consider exercises such as Romanian deadlifts and goblet squats paired with walking lunges. These exercises target multiple muscle groups, enhancing strength and tone while keeping injury risks low. It’s also essential to listen to your body and engage in exercises that feel comfortable yet challenging. Incorporate rest days and focus on hydration and nutrition to support your workouts. Finding a workout buddy or a supportive community can further enhance your motivation. Regular check-ins with a fitness expert or a knowledgeable friend can keep your routine exciting and on track. As you progress, gradually increase weights and set new goals to maintain enthusiasm and growth in your fitness journey.
