Columbus Crew Game!⚽️
Went for a little date night yesterday at the Crew Game!
My boyfriend’s job provides free tickets to their suite so we got to enjoy food and drinks in the river club + had awesome cushioned seats. Having grown up in the area, I always forget how much Columbus has to offer so it was so much fun to go enjoy a local pro soccer game!!
Making it my new mission to go explore and enjoy more of what the city has :)
Ps. The cap square chippies were delicious and I heard cap city diner has something similar?? Maybe we will go there soon to try em! Also, last live pic was off the last goal scored, the stadium does a little light show and everyone goes crazy!! And on the north end they have a drum corps that plays the whole game to keep the energy up

My recent date night at a Columbus Crew game was absolutely unforgettable, and it really reminded me how much fun and energy a live soccer match brings! If you're pondering a visit to Lower.com Field, let me share some tips and what makes a Crew game so special. First off, the atmosphere is electric from the moment you step foot near the stadium. Even if you don't have suite access like we did (which, by the way, was incredible – shoutout to those comfy seats and the River Club Suite perks like the Tequila Patron Palomas and Mules we got to enjoy!), the general stadium experience is top-notch. The north end, with its dedicated drum corps, truly keeps the energy soaring throughout the entire game. You’ll find yourself cheering, chanting, and getting swept up in the excitement, especially when the light show kicks in after a goal! For first-timers, I highly recommend arriving a bit early. This gives you time to soak in the pre-game buzz, maybe grab some merch, and find your seats without rushing. Parking can be a bit tricky, so consider ride-sharing or checking out some of the nearby parking garages in advance. Columbus has done an amazing job developing the area around the stadium, so there are usually some cool spots to check out before or after the game. Now, let's talk food! While we indulged in some fantastic bites in the suite, including those utterly delicious Capital Square Chippies (seriously, those kettle chips with cream sauce, blue cheese, and green onions are a game-changer – I heard Cap City Diner has something similar, definitely on my list to try!), the stadium offers a great variety for everyone. From classic stadium fare to local food trucks, you won't go hungry. My personal tip? Look for unique local vendors that rotate, you might discover your new favorite game-day snack! Wearing your team colors (black and yellow!) isn't just for show; it really makes you feel part of the Crew community. And don't forget to keep an eye out for special theme nights or promotions. The Crew fanbase is incredibly passionate and welcoming, making it a fantastic experience whether you're a die-hard soccer fan or just looking for a fun evening out with friends, family, or for a date. It's more than just watching a game; it's about the collective energy, the unforgettable moments, and experiencing Columbus at its vibrant best. So next time you're thinking 'crew game,' don't hesitate – grab some tickets and prepare for a night of thrilling soccer and good times!
