When a daughter embodies both girly and tomboy traits, it’s essential to encourage her unique expression without forcing her into a single mold. Embrace moments where she can explore her creativity through fashion—like dress-up games and DIY outfits—while also promoting her hobbies in sports or outdoor adventures. Establishing a supportive environment allows your daughter to experiment with different identities. Foster discussions about these interests to show her that it’s perfectly okay to switch between playing with dolls and climbing trees. Engaging with her friends who have different interests can also enhance her social skills, resulting in a well-rounded personality. Remember, the goal is to nurture her sense of self and confidence. Teach her that both passion for pretty dresses and love for action-packed activities are equally valid. Lastly, encourage open conversations about her preferences so she feels comfortable expressing herself in any setting, promoting acceptance of her multifaceted character.

my daughter was way into ninja turtles until she was 7. then she liked vampires until she was 11...well still does but my daughter had never been a huge girly girl as in a princess girly girl but she loves doing her makeup and hair now. it's wild.
