Parents need each other ..

I post the good, the bad, & the ugly ..

So here is the GOOD 😊

Their father has them for the night & is helping me get to work for the next 2 days.

I said this to say— put it aside. None of that matters anymore. The children deserve two parents. That doesn’t mean you have to be in a relationship, move on— but that does mean you should both strive for what is BEST for the children & helping each other is a part of that! If the parent fails the child fails and I firmly believe parents should uplift each other in every way.

I have no hopes of reconnecting what once was but I have all the hopes that my boys will have 2 active parents 💯‼️ #relatable #reality #tiktok

... Read moreCo-parenting is a critical and often complex aspect of parenting after separation or divorce. Regardless of personal differences between parents, prioritizing the well-being of children is paramount. Studies consistently show that children who have active involvement from both parents experience better emotional, social, and academic outcomes. This holds true regardless of whether the parents remain in a romantic relationship. The key to successful co-parenting lies in effective communication and mutual respect. When parents support each other’s roles, even while living separately, they set an example of cooperation and stability for their children. This involves sharing responsibilities like transportation, caregiving, and decision-making about education and health. It is important to understand that co-parenting does not require reconciliation of the romantic relationship or living together. Instead, the focus is on the partnership in parenting where parents work towards what is best for their children. Forgiveness and setting aside past grievances can enable parents to collaborate smoothly and put the child’s needs first. Emotional support for children is strengthened when they see their parents actively participating in each other’s lives in a positive way. This reduces feelings of confusion, divided loyalties, and instability. Experts also recommend establishing consistent routines and clear expectations across households to promote a sense of security. Modern parenting resources emphasize that children thrive best with stable, loving, and involved caregivers. The presence of two active parents provides a broader support network and richer experiences. This approach aligns with child development theories that stress the importance of social and emotional nurturing. In practice, co-parenting can be easier when parents use tools like shared calendars, communication apps, and parenting plans. Mediation or counseling can help resolve conflicts and maintain focus on children’s best interests. Ultimately, the commitment to uplift each other in every way boosts family harmony, even post-separation. By putting aside differences and holding the children as the central priority, parents provide motivation for their children’s success and happiness. Co-parenting is about creating a team dedicated to the well-being of the next generation, ensuring children are loved, supported, and guided by both parents no matter the circumstances.

I have recently started a group on instagram for those who would like to support each other! I do realize the algorithm is pretty tough, and some may suffer what I call a content creator block. The only golden rule is no drama whatsoever.🖤 🖤For those interested my instagram is kimikoxrose22__

A close-up image shows a parent holding a baby, both dressed in floral patterns, with the title "SURVIVING AND THRIVING WITH 2 UNDER 2 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW!" overlaid.
A baby lies on a light-colored surface with an adult's arm and a bottle nearby, illustrating the text "DOUBLE THE LOVE (AND CHAOS!)" about parenting two children under two.
A white shelf holds a framed ultrasound image and a stuffed bunny, with another framed artwork above, accompanying the text "ROUTINE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND" for parents of two under two.
