Eating alone used to feel like a burden, a reminder of what I lacked, but now, it’s a powerful act of self-care and a testament to *learning to love myself*. Today, it was a delicious *kids steak meal with vegetables on the side*, specifically *zucchini and onion*, perfectly topped with *white sauce and teriyaki sauce*—a small luxury I savored. It’s in these quiet moments that I truly connect with my inner self, away from the constant demands of being a *mom of five*. My life as a single mother is filled with unique *struggles*. Every day brings *all the chores, all the responsibility*, and there's no partner to share the load. While I'm incredibly thankful for my own mom's help, nothing truly replaces the partnership of a devoted husband, someone who can *nurture, provide, and protect*. I’ve learned the hard way about choosing partners, and yes, I’ve had to dispose of my baby daddies for my own peace and the well-being of my children. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was necessary for my growth and to break cycles that weren't serving me. This journey has stripped away pieces of me. There was a time I felt I’d *lost the ability to trust anyone*, automatically jumping to the worst. But I’m actively *healing*, trying my best to shed those layers of past hurt. It's about letting go of what I thought I needed and holding on to what truly matters – my children, my faith, and my own sense of worth. I lean onto my faith, knowing everything happens for a reason and that I am being guided toward a fulfilled life. My dreams now extend to living simply, to *live off the land*, grow my own food, and even learn to make clothes. It’s part of a bigger picture of self-sufficiency and creating a harmonious environment for my family. For any other moms out there facing similar challenges, remember that your worth isn’t defined by your relationship status or your past. Your strength lies in your resilience and your capacity for love, both for your children and for yourself. Finding joy in solo moments, acknowledging your *struggles*, and actively pursuing healing are all vital steps towards a more content existence. It's a continuous process of self-discovery, one where every small step forward, every moment of self-compassion, truly counts.
