🍐✨ Homemade Pear Butter from My Backyard Trees

There is nothing like turning home-grown fruit into something cozy and spreadable. This pear butter might be my favorite fall/winter tradition yet.

🌿 Why I Love Making It

uses up tons of pears at once

your whole kitchen smells like cinnamon + warm sugar

tastes like a hug on toast

feels extra special knowing it came from my own trees

🍐 What I Used

fresh pears from the garden

a little sugar or honey

cinnamon + cloves

lemon juice

slow cooker or stovetop

🍯 How I Made It

1. Wash, peel, and chop the pears.

2. Toss them into the slow cooker with spices + sweetener.

3. Let them cook low and slow until soft.

4. Blend until silky smooth.

5. Cook a little longer to thicken into that perfect buttery consistency.

6. Jar it up and let it cool (the hardest part is not eating it immediately 😅).
