Get real comfy
There is always going to be someone with something to say about you or your life. Stop people pleasing and live your life. Get real comfortable with people not understanding you. #wlw #wuhluhwuhluh #just be nice
In my experience, one of the most liberating things you can do is to accept that not everyone will understand or approve of your choices—and that's perfectly okay. It’s easy to get caught up trying to please others, but constantly seeking external approval often leads to stress and dissatisfaction. Getting real comfortable with people not understanding you means prioritizing your own well-being and values over others’ expectations. Access to your life is something that should be earned by those around you—not something you give away at the expense of your own peace. Setting healthy boundaries allows you to protect your emotional space. For example, I found that when I stopped justifying my decisions and stopped explaining myself to everyone, I felt a noticeable relief from pressure and anxiety. Remember, your job is not to make everyone around you comfortable while you feel overwhelmed or unheard. Living authentically means honoring your truth, even if it confuses others. Over time, you'll notice that genuine connections develop with people who respect you for who you are. Those are the relationships worth investing in. Lastly, getting real comfy in your own skin and mind involves practicing self-compassion and patience with yourself. It’s okay to outgrow some relationships and to embrace solitude when needed. This process can lead to deeper self-awareness and happiness, showing that sometimes, the best approval you can get is your own.
