Never Refrigerate
Some tips I came across on FB

From my personal experience, knowing which foods should never be refrigerated has saved me both money and disappointment in the kitchen. For example, tomatoes kept in the fridge lose their juicy flavor and become mealy, so I always keep them at room temperature. Bananas also suffer when chilled; they turn black and mushy but stay firm and sweet on the countertop. I've noticed that onions and garlic stored in the fridge often sprout and become smelly, so I store them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place instead. Peaches and mangoes ripen perfectly on the counter without refrigeration, maintaining their juicy texture and sweet flavor; refrigerating them would dry them out and make them grainy. Bread is another item that stales faster in the fridge, so I keep it in a bread box or sealed container at room temperature to retain softness. Honey is best left unrefrigerated because it crystallizes and hardens when cold but stays liquid and usable on the countertop. Potatoes stored in the fridge turn sweet and lose their texture, so a dark, cool pantry shelf is ideal. Avocados ripen better outside the fridge and develop uneven texture if refrigerated too early. Coffee and chocolate both absorb odors and lose aroma if chilled or stored near strong-smelling foods. Nuts lose crunch and flavor when refrigerated, so keeping them in an airtight container at room temperature is preferable unless you need longer-term storage, in which case freezing might be better. Watermelon and pineapple actually ripen and maintain flavor best outside refrigeration until cut. Apples lose crispness and nutrients when chilled, so room temperature storage is better for maintaining their tasty crunch. Overall, paying attention to these storage tips helps maintain the natural flavors and textures of these foods, reduces waste, and enhances your cooking and snacking experience.
