Our favorite way to cut a watermelon
Cutting watermelon doesn't have to be a messy or complicated task. Over the years, I've found that using a large, sharp chef's knife really helps in making clean, even cuts through the thick rind and juicy flesh. Start by cutting off both ends of the watermelon for stability, then slice it in half. From there, you can cut each half into quarters or smaller wedges. One of my favorite tricks is to make vertical cuts in the watermelon, then make perpendicular cuts to create bite-sized cubes which are easy to pick up and serve. This method is great for parties or for kids, as it provides uniform pieces without creating too much juice runoff. Always remember to cut on a sturdy cutting board and use a towel underneath if the board slides. Keeping the watermelon chilled before cutting also makes it easier to handle and enhances the refreshing taste. Sharing watermelon is a favorite summer moment in my household, and with these simple cutting methods, the fruit is ready to be enjoyed quickly and attractively every time. Whether you prefer wedges, sticks, or cubes, the key is to find a safe, efficient way to cut that fits your needs.

Omg those children are gorgeous 😄 Watermelon looks good 😂
