I was failing.

I felt like I was failing as a mom and wife.💔

I remember one day in particular, driving home from school drop off and counting the minutes until I had to be back. I wanted to go home, turn on trash tv and just lay on the couch...alone. I wanted to take a nap every day. I didn’t want to cook or clean.

It makes me tear up just to think about it because I should be counting down the minutes until I get to see my babies again and look forward to being able to play and read with them after school. 😔

The #momguilt was real but so was the #wifeguilt because I'd make up excuses as to why we needed to order out or the typically tidy house was neglected...I just wanted to do nothing. Our basement had a LITERAL #mountainoflaundry from months of not doing it. It was easier to go out and but new stuff than go down two flights of stairs to do what we already had.

My husband would get so upset with me on Sundays when none of his work clothes would be clean for him to leave out of town for work during the week. Our kids had days where they wouldn’t have socks because I failed to do what a mother should and have them out and clean for them.

I can't stop talking about the changes that are happening recently! 🙌 I tackled that laundry. Every last piece of it. I got rid of 9 yes NINE trash bags stuffed of clothes. I’ve deep cleaned things I never would have before. I’ve read 5 books so far since January 1st.

I find myself not getting as overstimulated as I was just a few short weeks ago. I was yelling at the kids for doing things that all kids do.

My energy is through the roof and my mood is overall 100x improved. I’m sleeping better and not so restless.

I am seeing incredible results on my new gut health supplements (I call it a #happinesshack ) and it's only been a few days.

My husband even said to me, "Babe, you seem so much more motivated and just HAPPIER” 🥰

I am confident I'm on the right path and my only wish is that I found it sooner! 💜 What's one thing you wish you found sooner too?!
