TGIF Happy Halloween 🎃

This is a long read, but it’s worth it.

Last week we were busy every single night,

something always going on. And this week? It’s been the most Mondayest week ever.

It started with going into work Monday morning only to find out… no phone, no internet. Then we learned it wouldn’t be fixed until Thursday!

Then came a water issue, and while trying to clean it up, the water ended up pouring all over me. I was soaked head to toe, but honestly, all I could do was laugh. Sometimes that’s all you can do.

Since it’s Halloween week, we’ve had some fun activities like a pumpkin decorating and carving contest. I usually join in, but this year I’ve been cutting back on expenses, so I sat it out.

Then today, Halloween...we got to dress up for work. After the last couple of weeks, I had zero intention of participating. But then something hit me.

Things may not be going the way I want them to, but I still show up. I still try.

And when my kids saw me dressed up this morning, the look on their faces made it so worth it.

Even if you’re having the hardest week and nothing seems to go right, still do what you can. Because in all the darkness, a little bit of light can go a long way. 💛
