Planning a toddler's birthday is such a special journey, and when my little one turned three, I knew I wanted to make it memorable but also fun and easy for everyone, especially the kids! One of the biggest hits at our outdoor celebration was definitely the bubble play. Integrating the bubble play into our Sanrio-themed party was super simple. The sheer joy of chasing bubbles naturally fit the whimsical vibe. We had Sanrio character cutouts on our cupcakes and a Hello Kitty topper on the cake, so the bright, playful colors of the bubbles just added to the festive decor. You could even find bubble wands with character handles or attach small character charms to plain wands for an extra touch. Beyond the main bubble event, having a few other toddler-friendly activities is always a good idea. Simple things like a designated area for playing with balloons (My Melody balloons, anyone?), or a small craft station with coloring pages, can provide quieter moments. But honestly, the bubbles were the main attraction! And what’s a party without party favors? Sending guests home with their own bubble wands or small bottles of bubble solution is a fantastic, affordable, and much-loved option. It’s a little piece of the party fun they can take home and continue enjoying. Seeing the kids bundled up and having a blast with the bubbles, even when it was quite chilly, really made the day.
