💄5 minute makeup must haves
Can we just take a second to talk about how much better it feels as a mom to just put 👏🏼 yourself 👏🏼 together?! I’ve promised myself this year that I would show up more with a put together routine. For me, that means makeup. Putting even a quick 5 minute routine into my day can make or break my entire mood - and if I’m being honest my husband and my kids deserve this from me. I’m just a better person when I add something like this to my day. I show up better for the world. Anyone else this way? If I can take just 5 minutes from my busy mom schedule then I’m calling it a win.
These are my must haves:
⚡️ Double ended brushes - honestly these just save time and space. Don’t care what brand they are, I just need em.
🩷 A really good primer - this sets the tone for the entire base of my face. Sets everything up just right. Minimizes pores. Feels silky smooth all day.
⚡️Bronzer - helps to contour my face and gives me some extra dimension. Don’t even need a lot. A bit on the cheeks, nose and forehead make a huge difference.
🩷 Fun blush colors - okay maybe it’s just me but I love fun blush!! This pink is my usual grab because it goes with everything and is also a little brighter!
⚡️Highlighter - I love using highlighter to open up my face. I pop a little on cheekbones, bridge of my nose, and above my top lip. If I’m feeling a little extra I also add a smidge to the inner corners of my eyes.
🩷 Volume mascara - GAME CHANGER. Mascara is my one ride or die. Besides my brows I always feel better with mascara. Maybe it’s because my lashes are sooo light in color?!!! I prefer a volume mascara to give my lashes lift and thickness.
