February Read

... Read moreFebruary has always been a special month for diving into diverse types of reading material, and this year I decided to blend audiobooks with physical books focused on physics. One of the greatest advantages of audiobooks is the ability to absorb content during commutes or while doing chores, making reading more accessible and less time-consuming. On the other hand, physical books provide a tactile experience that can enhance focus and retention, especially with complex subjects like physics. Listening to popular audiobooks offers a way to experience storytelling in a new dimension through skilled narration, which was especially enjoyable with titles tagged as #fable in my reading list. Meanwhile, engaging with physics books in a traditional format helped me to slow down and fully understand challenging concepts, turning reading into both an educational and enjoyable activity. Incorporating both formats also kept my reading routine fresh and motivated. For others interested in a similar approach, I recommend choosing at least one audiobook on a topic you love and pairing it with a physical book that challenges your brain or piques your curiosity. This way, you get the best of both worlds—comfort and speed from audiobooks, and depth and engagement from physical books. Overall, February’s mix of audio and physics reading turned out to be a rewarding experience. It broadened my knowledge while allowing flexibility in how and when I read. If you're looking to enrich your reading habits this month, trying a combination like this could open new doors to learning and enjoyment.
