On Aug 10, 68, the National Resistance Council of Cambodia (CNRC), led by former opposition mainstay Samom Ray, issued a statement calling on the Cambodian government to reveal the truth that the public should know.

• Number of military and civilian dead-wounded
• Number of families to evacuate
• Number of workers returning from Thailand
It emphasizes that the Government must take measures to assist, remedy, employ and relieve its debts.
This is the voice of the Cambodian people who are questioning the competence and legitimacy of their leaders. When leaders cannot protect and care for their people, trust collapses and the call for change grows louder every day.

On August 10, 2025, the Cambodia National Resistance Council (CNRC), led by former opposition leader Sam Rainsy, issued a statement declaring the Cambodian government to disclose facts that the people deserve to know:
• Areas under Cambodian military control after the ceasefire
• Numbers of military and civilian chiefs
• Families forced to evacuate
• Cambodian migrant workers returning from Thailand
The CNRC also urged the government to implement relief measures, employment programs, and debt relief for those affected.
This is the voice of Cambodians themselves, challenging the competence and legitimacy of their leaders.
