I had a lot of pain when I started this podcast. When I started, I never thought anyone would listen. My therapist recommended that I start since she felt that I had value. Inside my head, I thought, "She is wrong," but in my heart, looking back on her advice, "She is right."
If you have ever felt that you do not have value to offer, I am sorry to say this: you are wrong. You do have value. Do not let a toxic person, a bad experience, or a problematic situation steal the most important asset. "Your uniqueness."
I still struggle with the unhealthy need for approval from strangers who do not matter.
What helps me reframe?
The only approval needed is from family; they love you, and if you have that.
