Created by the duo Ippon Takegushi (author) and Santa Mitarashi (artist) — I enjoyed the modern day ninja secretly on a mission in a high-school setting with one of the twists being his crippling social-anxiety! It was entertaining to watch how he dealt with interpersonal interactions on the job while attending school. Not to mention having to maintain his undercover identity lest his assignment figure out the truth. 🥷

Reading ‘Shinobi Undercover’ truly gave me a fresh perspective on the ninja genre, especially with its clever twist of placing the protagonist in a typical high school setting.
