Visited a Rose Garden & brought along Riddle 🌹

A wide variety of roses from white to vibrant Red and some even looked like they were painted too! It was a rainy day but made the best of it and there was a cute cafe where I tried a “Rose Float.” Think Riddle was in awe of the chocolate shaped rose — maybe it will end up on the next unbirthday party menu.

If you’re visiting Japan the location for this Rose Garden is in Hiroshima 「そらの花畑世羅高原花の森」 aka ‘Forest of empty flower garden Sera Plateau flower’

... Read moreVisiting the Forest of Empty Flower Garden in Hiroshima gave me a wonderful glimpse into Japan’s lesser-known floral spots, especially on a rainy day when the vibrant colors of the roses stood out even more. The garden's variety—from pure whites to deep reds and roses that looked almost like painted art—was breathtaking. What added charm to the visit was the cute cafe on-site, where I indulged in a unique Rose Float, a refreshing treat combining the floral essence with creamy soda. This was quite a highlight and felt like a perfect way to celebrate the beauty around me. If you’re planning a trip to Hiroshima or nearby regions, I highly recommend incorporating this rose garden into your itinerary. It's not just the flowers but the overall atmosphere—the quiet, the rain enhancing the petals, and the thoughtful touches like rose-shaped chocolates—that makes the experience memorable. It's ideal for those seeking peaceful nature walks or a romantic outing. Additionally, the garden is located in Sera Plateau, known as 「そらの花畑世羅高原花の森」, which translates to Forest of Empty Flower Garden Sera Plateau Flower. Exploring this area, you might find seasonal events showcasing flowers along with artisan products, making it a great cultural visit too. For fans of plushies or character-themed events, the garden occasionally features themed experiences, evident with Riddle’s delightful reaction to the rose chocolates—perhaps a fun idea for unbirthday parties or special gatherings. Visiting during different seasons could offer varied floral displays, so it’s worth checking in advance. The serene ambiance and the harmony between nature and thoughtful café offerings make this garden a hidden gem to enjoy Japan beyond the usual city tours. Don’t forget to bring a camera or your favorite plush companion to capture and savor the memories!
