Vacation Edits : Summer Gourmand ✨

Packing for vacation is hard … but packing perfumes for vacation is EXTRA EXTRA HARD !

And because I can’t bring it all … I decided to try a little something…

Now, I’m not telling you to do this … BUT this is what I did to maximize my scent potential instead of carrying a boatload of perfume.

All the perfumes featured I mixed into that little travel size .

Who says you can’t wear gourmands in July? 😌✨

This trio is serving lemon drizzle cake at a rooftop brunch 🍋🍰—sweet, zesty, and guaranteed to turn heads in any season.

Featuring :

✨ Dolce & Gabbana Devotion – creamy lemon meringue 🍋, candied citrus, orange blossom 🌼, and vanilla 💛

✨ Azha Perfumes Bariq – sparkling citrus peel 🍊, warm amber 🌞, and soft florals 🌸

✨ Atheeri by Lattafa – rich vanilla bean 🍦, white florals 🌿, and a hint of musk 🌫️

This combo just eats DOWN ! 🤤

💡P.S. Don’t forget to pair it with a body oil to lock in that base …

🫶🏾My recommendations : either @dessertfolk Lemon Poundcake or J’Lumiere Cake by the Pound 💕

... Read morePacking perfumes for vacation can be a challenge, especially when aiming to maintain a delightful and fresh scent throughout your trip without overpacking bulky bottles. The summer gourmand fragrance trend is perfect for those who appreciate sweet, zesty, and comforting scents that evoke warmth and indulgence even in hot weather. Combining notes like creamy lemon meringue, candied citrus, warm amber, and rich vanilla bean creates a versatile and inviting fragrance profile that stands out in any season. Perfume layering is a popular technique, particularly effective for travelers wanting to carry fewer bottles but still achieve complex fragrance experiences. The featured trio — Dolce & Gabbana Devotion, Azha Perfumes Bariq, and Atheeri by Lattafa — work harmoniously to provide bright citrus top notes, soft florals, and a warm, musky vanilla base. This composition not only complements summer vibes but also enhances scent longevity. To further lock in these layered scents, pairing them with a nourishing body oil is highly recommended. Oils like Dessertfolk Lemon Poundcake or J’Lumiere Cake by the Pound add an extra moisturizing layer that helps retain fragrance on the skin longer and intensifies the gourmand aroma. This combination is ideal for rooftop brunches, daytime strolls, and summery outings where a fresh, sweet scent can brighten the atmosphere and make a memorable impression. When preparing for travel, using travel-sized bottles to mix your chosen perfumes reduces luggage weight and space, making the packing process easier. Remember, layering is not only about blending scents but also balancing their intensity to avoid overpowering. Experimentation is key — different application sequences and amounts can tailor your scent to your personal style and the occasion. Incorporating these gourmand perfume layering tips into your summer packing list allows you to enjoy luxurious, personalized fragrances effortlessly and ensures you remain fragrant and fashionable wherever your vacation takes you.
