Don't Forget Who You Are.
The Word acts as a mirror to our souls. If we walk away and stay the same, we’ve missed the point of looking in the first place.

In my personal faith journey, I've come to realize that the Word of God is much more than just a text to read or a source of comfort during difficult times. It truly acts as a mirror, reflecting the deepest parts of our soul and revealing areas where growth and change are needed. One of the most powerful lessons I've learned is that hearing or reading the Word isn't sufficient on its own—it's about applying it to my life. When the scripture says, "Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like," it challenges me to live intentionally. This means not just recognizing my faults or virtues but actively working on becoming the person God intends me to be. For example, I used to read spiritual verses and feel momentarily uplifted, but without putting those teachings into practice, I didn't experience meaningful change. Through reflection and prayer, I've learned to allow the Word to convict and guide me daily. This has led to tangible transformation—improving my patience, kindness, and faith walk. Embracing this process helps prevent stagnation in spiritual growth, ensuring that I am not the person I was yesterday but increasingly the person my Creator designed. Sharing this with others, especially in spiritual growth communities, has reinforced the importance of accountability and support. When we encourage one another to embody the Word, we uphold each other in faith and become living testimonies of transformation. Remember, the mirror is not just to see who you are but to inspire the change you desire to be.

Amen!
