Beyond the electrifying music and vibrant stage presence, what struck me most was how strongly Bad Bunny represents cultural pride and unity. Often, public figures from Puerto Rico face unfair criticism and misconceptions about their nationality or identity. However, Bad Bunny’s participation in such a major American event highlights his integral role in the cultural landscape of the U.S. It’s important to recognize that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, and Bad Bunny’s artistry transcends borders, making him as American as any mainstream star. This visibility at events like the Super Bowl helps challenge racist and ignorant views, reminding everyone that American culture is wonderfully diverse. Embracing artists like Bad Bunny encourages broader understanding and appreciation of Latino contributions to music and pop culture. Whether you are a long-time fan or discovering his work for the first time during the Benito Bowl hype, his message resonates with many: pride in heritage and breaking down prejudices. Supporting artists who stand for inclusivity and cultural awareness makes these moments even more meaningful. This experience has definitely inspired me to explore more of Bad Bunny’s music and the rich cultural backdrop he comes from.

I don't know if in school they teach that Puerto Rico is Commonwealth with the United States. But, it is unfortunate, that they think that we are immigrants and we don't belong.
