If the Buddha wins the devil with "helper" instead of "prestige,"
If the Buddha defeated the devil with "helper" instead of "prestige," what would happen? 🤔
Have you ever wondered?..Why did the Buddha choose, on the night of enlightenment, to "remember the glory accumulated" to defeat the Devil rather than call on angels or outside powers?
If the events change...Today's results may change completely! ✨
❌ If someone came to help instead of His own "prestige":
1. Buddhism will become a "religion of pleading."
If the Buddha had won through other manpower, Buddhism would not have emphasized "self-reliance," but instead would have become a ritual for blessing or reliance on sacred things, because success is not due to our own perseverance.
2. The value of "human" will diminish.
The Buddha's victory with prestige is evidence that "normal humans" can escape their suffering with their own potential. If they have to use angels to help, it's like saying, "This man can't do it himself," which makes the Dharma look far away from us.
3. The law of karma will lack magic.
Prestige is the sum of good deeds, and the use of prestige wins the devil, which proves that "good is good," which is true and has great power. If you use external powers, the rules of cause and effect may no longer be meaningful.
🌟 Why is "prestige" the most important turning point?
Winning the devil with prestige was not just the solution that night but the most powerful "prototype" for all of us to see...
✅ We determine our destiny: Every good we do today is a weapon that will help us on the day of life's biggest problem.
✅ Don't rely on fate: Buddhism teaches us to be confident in our own perseverance and wisdom.
✅ Change Belief to Action: From Sitting for Blessings to Making Good Events for Future Results
💬 Thinking left:
In an age when we are always looking for "shortcuts" or waiting for "helpers," the Buddha's story of winning the devil reminds us to look back at our own "cost of life," that today we have accumulated enough "prestige" to face the "devil" (problems and obstacles) in life?
Friends, what kind of "self-reliance" and "asking for help" can make us grow more? Comment, let's talk! 👇
