First things first, a flawless base is key for soft glam makeup on Black women. It’s crucial to find a foundation and concealer that perfectly match your skin tone and undertone. Many of us have beautiful warm or golden undertones, so look for products that complement that. I love using a hydrating primer to create a smooth canvas, then applying a medium-coverage foundation that melts into my skin, rather than sitting on top. Blend, blend, blend! Your concealer should brighten slightly under the eyes without looking ashy. Set with a finely milled translucent powder, focusing on areas that tend to get oily, but avoid over-powdering to maintain that radiant finish. For the eyes, soft glam typically involves neutral, earthy tones. Think warm browns, subtle golds, and champagne shimmers.
