Behind the Song : Simi

Favorite Line : “Hoping you’re out past that reef, where the stars kiss the gentle tide beneath, maybe surfin’ on some cosmic light, that lets you watch over us each night.”

This song comes from poetry written after losing my brother. I was living in Simi Valley, CA at the time, as was my other brother, and a lot of people who loved and missed him. I tried to capture the struggle I was having trying to move on and the hope that he could still feel all the love going out to him.
