... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so excited to finally share a closer look at what's been brewing behind the scenes – my latest passion project, affectionately known as 'Project WWHA.' For me, WWHA stands for 'What We Hold Authentic,' and this series is all about celebrating genuine self-expression through style and photography. It’s been an incredible journey collaborating with Ennis, who truly embodies the spirit of authenticity and confidence, making every shot a joy to capture.
When we started planning 'Project WWHA,' the core goal was simple: to showcase the diverse facets of one's personality, embracing comfort, confidence, and a little bit of playful experimentation. Each look in this collection was thoughtfully chosen to highlight a different mood or feeling, reflecting the layers that make us unique. You'll see Ennis rocking everything from a vibrant, eye-catching pink floral shirt that just radiates pure joy and warmth, to a cool, colorful crop top paired seamlessly with classic jeans for that effortlessly chic, everyday vibe. It’s about so much more than just the clothes themselves; it’s about how each outfit makes you feel, how you carry yourself, and the story it subtly tells.
I particularly loved the shoot where Ennis wore the delicate yet strong pink lace-trimmed tank top – it created such an interesting contrast and added a sophisticated touch. And then there was the bold brown tube top, perfectly complemented by floral shorts, capturing a wonderfully relaxed, sun-kissed summer aesthetic. We really aimed to play with a variety of textures and color palettes, moving from the soft, comfortable grey striped t-shirt for a cozy, introspective moment, to the striking red lace-trimmed tank top that instantly brought a touch of dramatic flair and confidence. The versatility of each piece, whether it was a simple pink t-shirt with a butterfly design, or a classic pink tank top, allowed us to explore so many different expressions.
Ennis's expressive poses truly brought each concept to life. Whether it was hands confidently placed on their head, a genuine laugh with arms crossed, or a direct, captivating gaze looking directly at the camera, every gesture added depth to the narrative. Even the subtle, real-life details, like Ennis's signature short hair, sometimes adorned with stylish glasses, or the visible arm hair in some shots, contribute to the raw, unpolished beauty and authenticity we aimed for. It's about celebrating the individual, exactly as they are, in all their wonderful complexity.
'Project WWHA' isn't just a collection of pretty pictures; it's a visual diary designed to inspire you to embrace who you are, find joy in your unique personal style, and confidently share that with the world. It’s about understanding that fashion can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and a reflection of your inner self. I truly hope these images resonate with you and perhaps even spark some fun ideas for your own next outfit adventure or personal style journey!
