maple in paris 🐶🇫🇷🥖

to celebrate my 30th birthday and maple’s 3rd birthday, we went to paris together and it was the most magical trip!!! ✨

what I loved most was being able to go everywhere together — restaurants and shops were so dog-friendly! we created so many special memories together. there were many open areas and dog parks where maple could run around, and it was so nice to be able to spend the whole day together everyday 🤎

the paperwork and health checks weren’t easy but they were manageable — we started working on health checks / paperwork 2-3 months ahead of our travel date (mainly the rabies test takes awhile). and the other challenge was finding the AVS equivalent in france to get the necessary approvals to come back into singapore - but with some planning it was manageable!

we also went to burgundy and the alps but that’s for another time!

paris can be a very overwhelming place to visit. with so many sights and museums, a question one might have is, where do i start? what is worth visiting? is paris racist? is it even safe? and because i was once in that position, i’m gonna try to make this as comprehensive a guide as i can by answer

If you've been dreaming of a Euro trip but not sure how much time you need and what to do, here's your sign! P.s: I actually spent a little longer exploring these cities, but this 12-day itinerary is what I'd recommend for first timers if you want to experience the best of all three

How Paris changed my attitude towards life 🇫🇷
Growing up, I was always-in-motion 💨 Chasing goals, chasing “success”, chasing the version of life that looks “good”. I was taught to be efficient and productive, to achieve and not fall behind ⏳ During my 4 years working in Paris 🇫🇷, I experienced a new way of life. There, I learnt the art o
