The Scripture For Today. When You Mourn Over Something,It Seems Like It Takes Forever To Get Over It 😔. We Can Mourn Over Some Sin Or Spiritual Brokenness By Losing A Family Member/Friend That You've Known For Years Or Doing/Saying Something Wrong To Someone And It Feels Like It Just Sticks With You And It's Hard To Let Go Of Because It Touches You Also. It Could Be A Grieving Brokenness Of The World Where You Lose A Job/Car/House That You've Worked So Hard For To Receive Or By Receiving The Suffering From The Injustice Given In This World. Again,Different People Mourn Over Different Situations. The Part That'll Really Hit The Most Is When You'll Hear Someone Tell You To "Get Over It" Or "Move On From That". No One Likes To Hear That. When I Hear It That Makes Me Feel As If They've Either Never Been In That Type Of Situation Or That They Have A Very Cold ❄️🥶 Heart For Other People. Whatever The Case May Be,That's Not Who Anyone Should Ever Depend On. The Son Of God Comes To Clear All Of Your Worries,Concerns And Heartaches. That's What He Is Here For. There's A Promise Of Comfort For The Present And The Future. The Present One That We Are In Now Can Give Peace Within The Mind/Heart,Grace And Will Also Guarantee Forgiveness To Those That Are Hurting Right Now. The Future Promise Gives Eternal Life Where Each Every Tear Will Be Washed Away Where And Can Put An End To All Of The Pain And Suffering. I Know It's Hard To Get Over Some Of The Situations That I've Mentioned Earlier But When You Call On The Son,Let Him Wipe Your Tears Away To Lift You Up. One significant source of comfort I've found comes through embracing the spiritual promise highlighted in Matthew 5:4: "God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted." This verse resonates, especially in moments when human consolation feels insufficient. It encourages us to lean into faith as a refuge and a beacon of hope, assuring us that while pain may be temporary, divine comfort is enduring. For me, calling on the Son of God during times of mourning has offered an inner peace that transcends understanding. It's not about erasing the pain immediately but about feeling supported through grace, which gently lifts the heaviness in the heart. This grace fosters forgiveness—both towards ourselves and others—encouraging healing that goes beyond surface level. Moreover, the promise of eternal life serves as a powerful reminder that current sorrows won't last forever. Every tear we shed carries the potential for being wiped away, signaling the eventual end of suffering. This future hope has helped me find strength on the darkest days and continue forward when giving up seemed tempting. Healing the heart and mind is essential before we can fully embrace life again. I've realized that mourning isn't a process to rush but a journey to honor. Surrounding yourself with empathetic people, spiritual support, and honest self-reflection can make a significant difference.
