I found that linking these small pauses—like waiting for technology to restart—with a mindful coffee break not only lightens the mood but also breaks the cycle of constant screen time. It’s a simple way to refresh both mentally and physically before diving into work. Adding humor to the routine, such as laughing at the ‘Time for a coffee break!’ prompt when your computer restarts, helps reduce stress and creates a positive start to the day. This little interaction reminds me to pause for a moment, enjoy a sip, and set a good tone.
