I always had good skin growing up.
So I never thought much about skincare.
But when I started bulking and training harder, my body was under more stress — and my skin showed it.
It wasn’t just small breakouts.
They were inflamed, painful pimples that took a long time to heal.
That was my wake-up call.
I realised that pushing for progress without taking care of your body eventually backfires.
So I started paying attention to what my body actually needed.
Adding more omega-3s to reduce inflammation,
supporting my gut with probiotics, fiber, and clean proteins to help good bacteria grow.
Together with skincare suited for my skin, my body slowly started finding its balance again.
Thankfully this happened before the inflammation turned into permanent scars.
And honestly, I’m also really grateful to my partner.
She’s always reminding me to take care of myself just as much as I push my body to build muscle.
