1. What is the price of the product?
+$72
+This product price point is considered a bit on the high end pricey side, so definitely NOT budget friendly. 😩
Do you think it's worth the price for the quantity/quality? +Yes & No, it’s definitely worth the price, but I for sure wouldn’t go out my way to buy it if it’s not in the budget. I am positive there are CHEAPER products out there that will do just the same. 💁🏽♀️
2. How does the product feel on your skin?
+This is a very smooth cream that has a hint of floral scent. 🌸🌺🌷

+It spreads so easily, literally one of the smoothest! It mixes well with my other products and leaves a nice dewy finish to my skin. 🍦
4.What skin type is this product suitable for?

+ Yes. Like I said, if it’s within budget, it’s definitely worth it, but if not, no need to stress buy just because, because there are OTHER brands I’m sure that will do just the same for a cheaper price! 💖💞🥰

Following my initial thoughts on Tatcha The Water Cream, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this product has such a devoted following and whether its $72 price tag is truly justified for someone with oily skin like mine. I know I mentioned it’s a 'treat yourself' item, but let's break down what makes it special and how you can get the most out of it, or find similar benefits without breaking the bank. First off, let's talk ingredients, because that's where the magic often happens. The OCR highlighted some key components: Wild Rose, Heartleaf, BHA Alternative, Hadasei-3, and Multi-Weight Glycerin. For me, the Hadasei-3 complex, a blend of green tea, rice, and algae, is a standout. It’s packed with antioxidants that really help protect the skin and give it that healthy glow. The Wild Rose and Heartleaf extracts are fantastic for clarity and calming the skin, which is a huge plus if you're battling breakouts or redness. I've personally noticed the 'pore-refining' and 'clarifying' effects, which genuinely make my skin feel smoother and less congested. The 'BHA Alternative' is also intriguing; it helps with gentle exfoliation without the potential irritation of traditional BHAs, making it great for improving skin texture and minimizing pores, which is a common concern for oily skin types. And the Multi-Weight Glycerin? That’s all about hydration without the heaviness, pulling moisture into the skin to keep that 'lightweight' feel while still 'improving the skin barrier'. When it comes to application, I've found a few tricks to really maximize its benefits. Since it spreads so easily and leaves a 'dewy finish', a little goes a long way. I usually use about a pea-sized amount for my whole face after my serums. For my oily T-zone, I gently press it in rather than just rubbing, which seems to help it absorb better and gives a more matte-ish look initially. It layers beautifully with my SPF and makeup, which is crucial for a morning routine. I also try to apply it to slightly damp skin – not wet, but just after my toner or serum has absorbed – as this helps lock in extra hydration. I’ve noticed that if I apply it this way, my skin stays hydrated and balanced throughout the day, without feeling greasy or needing touch-ups. Now, about the elephant in the room: the price. Is it truly worth spending $72 on this 'pore-minimizing, improving skin barrier' moisturizer? For me, it's a conditional yes. If you're struggling with oily skin that's also sensitive or prone to redness, and you're looking for a luxurious experience with visible results, it could be a fantastic investment. However, as I mentioned, there are definitely other products out there that can offer similar benefits at a lower price point. If the Tatcha The Water Cream isn't in your budget, don't despair! Look for alternatives that contain ingredients like niacinamide (great for oil control and pores), green tea extract (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory), hyaluronic acid (lightweight hydration), or willow bark extract (a natural BHA alternative). It's all about finding what works for your unique skin and budget. But if you do decide to splurge, know that you're getting a beautifully formulated product that, in my experience, delivers on its promises for oily skin.

I cannot think of trying that. 1. It’s chemicals 2. It’s way too expensive for what it is. I use moon butter from Naturecraft.net. It might be $26 but it lasts for a couple of years. Less if I use it all over, not just my face. It doesn’t clog pores nor is it greasy/oily. The soaps are so gentle and moisturizing, that I use it for whole body including my face Lastly, I use the flavored lip butter. All of these are all natural, ethically sourced, safe for eczema, psoriasis, delicate skin of Little kids and elderly.
