What I made this month 🥘

I’m a little late, but wanted to share my meals for September as a working mom in corporate. 😊

I unfortunately got sick in September and was sick for about a week, by the time I got my strength back to start cooking again, half of September was gone. 🥹 Maybe October will bring more meals.

Don’t come for me or my food, simply keep scrolling if it doesn’t interest you. 😉 These were meals my family enjoyed.

What’s on the menu this month: 🥰😋

• Homemade Double Cheese Burger on Sweet Hawaiian Bread with Homemade Potato Fries 🍟 🍔

• Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs 🍝

• Baked BBQ Chicken Breast, Sweet Honey Carrots, and White Rice 🍗🥕🍚

From my experience, planning simple yet satisfying dishes like homemade double cheese burgers on sweet Hawaiian bread with potato fries, traditional spaghetti and meatballs, or a baked BBQ chicken breast with sweet honey carrots and jasmine rice not only saves time but also keeps the family happy and well-fed. When I was sick last month, the importance of easy meal prep became even clearer. Having a few go-to recipes that require basic ingredients and minimal effort makes it easier to get back into cooking without overwhelm. For instance, homemade burgers can be customized with favorite toppings, and baking potato fries from scratch adds a homemade touch without much fuss. Spaghetti with meatballs is a comforting classic that can be made in advance and reheated, while baked BBQ chicken with charred honey carrots brings a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors that appeal to both kids and adults. Incorporating such meals into your routine not only supports a healthier lifestyle but also reduces the stress many working parents face. Using familiar ingredients like jasmine rice and honey carrots ensures your meals are balanced with protein, carbs, and vegetables. I find that sharing what I cook helps me stay motivated and inspires others to try meals that are simple, wholesome, and family-approved. Hopefully, upcoming months will bring even more creative meal ideas to share as I continue juggling work, wellness, and family life.
