Some women wear protective styles to keep our natural hair healthy. Some women want a quick style switch-up. Some women just don’t feel like blow-drying and flat-ironing for an hour before work, and that’s okay! AND THEY DON’T OWE YOU AN EXPLANATION!

✨ There’s this weird, and ignorant, narrative that wearing enhancements automatically means you’re ashamed of what’s underneath. Meanwhile, more than half of us have a full head of hair thriving under the installs. It’s literally called versatility. It’s convenience. It’s creativity. It’s SELF-EXPRESSION. And none of that equals insecurity.
