... Read moreHey everyone! I'm diving deep into my current Project Pan goals, and I'm super excited about the progress I'm hoping to make this month. For those unfamiliar, Project Pan is all about challenging yourself to use up specific beauty products completely. It's a fantastic way to appreciate what you already own, reduce waste, and truly get your money's worth from your makeup collection. My main focus this time around is a particular Revuele setting spray. I've had it for a while now, and while I love how it helps my makeup stay put, I tend to be a bit conservative with it. This month, I'm committing to using it generously every single time I do my makeup. I've found that a good makeup setting spray can truly make a difference in how long my look lasts, especially on busy days or when I'm out and about. Sometimes, I even use it to dampen my beauty sponge before applying foundation for a more seamless finish. It's a small trick that uses up a bit more product and enhances application! Beyond the Revuele setting spray, I'm also aiming to finish a lovely pink and white swirled cream blush. Cream blushes are my absolute favorite for that natural, dewy glow. To speed up the panning process, I've started applying it not just to my cheeks, but also dabbing a tiny bit on my lips for a cohesive, natural tint. Sometimes, I'll even use a very sheer layer on my eyelids for a monochromatic look. The versatility of a cream blush makes it a fun product to pan. I find that using my fingers to apply it helps warm up the product and makes it blend even more seamlessly into my skin. Lastly, I’ve included two makeup pencils in my pan efforts – specifically a lipliner and an eyeliner. Panning lip and eye pencils can sometimes feel like a never-ending task, but I’ve got a few strategies. For the lipliner, I’m making an effort to wear it every day, either to line my lips before lipstick or even as an all-over lip color topped with a clear gloss. For the eyeliner, I'm trying out new ways to incorporate it into my daily routine, like a subtle tightline or a smoked-out lower lash line. Sharpening them regularly, though it uses up product, ensures a precise application and makes you feel like you're making steady progress. Project Pan isn't just about using up products; it's also about rediscovering old favorites, understanding what works best for you, and being more mindful about future purchases. It's a journey of appreciation for the beauty items we invest in. I'm excited to see how much I can use up by the end of the month and will definitely share updates on my progress!
